Eltono is most distinguished by his constructive criterion and his sensitivity to medium and location.

He always improvises his forms and colors in situ to integrate within the existing balance. He also chooses neglected surfaces with the intention of reviving their dignity and to make use of the “formal load” of the aged textures.

Such pieces are often only slightly visible, which adds privacy to the fortuitous meeting with the work. By doing this he sacrifices numerous public encounters with his work but increases the capacity of penetration within each one of them […]

Improvisa in situ formas y colores para integrarse en el equilibrio existente. Escoge casi siempre superficies desatendidas con la intención de reanimar su dignidad y para aprovechar la carga formal de las texturas envejecidas.

Tales soportes son a menudo poco visibles, lo que añade privacidad al encuentro fortuito con la obra. Renunciando a la visibilidad sacrifica un buen número de encuentros del espectador con su obra pero incrementa a cambio la capacidad de penetración de cada uno de ellos.
